about ivstreets

Photographer Callahan Morgan presents ivstreets, a visual journey starting at UCSB and rapidly expanding beyond. Originally focused on campus life in and around the college town, Isla Vista (abbreviated as IV), the project has transformed into an exploration of the universal human experience.

ivstreets, led by Morgan's creative lens, goes beyond traditional photography. It dynamically shifts between intimate moments and candid expression, capturing the essence of each moment in his unique photojournalistic style. Candid street portraits and bustling party scenes intertwine creating a visual tapestry reflecting Morgan's style.

As the project expands, ivstreets continues to reflect Morgan's creative reach as a photographer breaking free from the traditional approach of observing and documenting moments from afar. ivstreets is centered around immersion and interaction with subjects such that each photo is the product of a collaborative effort.

This project is more than photos—it's a celebration of unscripted moments that define our shared experience. Morgan's careful curation invites viewers to connect with the diverse stories within each frame. ivstreets is an ever evolving narrative, an invitation to witness and celebrate the snippets found in everyday life.

After covering an event, ivstreets posts free albums of the photos publicly for anyone to use non-commercially. These are stored on the “albums” tab above. In addition to offering free services to UCSB clubs, community organizations, and students, ivstreets also offers paid services for event photography, sports photography, graduation photography, and portrait photography. See booking above or contact directly below.
